well i got my new visor yesterday it wasn't exactly the solid red i wanted but i think its better... its red wherever you focus at and gold on the sides..

Great job on your helmet, I love the "red and black" theme.

That's the same visor type I used for my helmet. The VEGA model I got is supposedly now discontinued (at least at Helmets etc.com)
Its called Red Iridium QX or something like that.
Its not a match for either Halo 2 or 3 but its exactly the visor in the Mark V armor.

I like the color gradient effect. I am undecided if I use the visor for my new helmet or go with the gold ones.. I can't find and dark gold colored helmets around. Only lite yellow.
