I used these on my helmet, here is the result:

And to explain what this is...

Green cirlce Leds including blue sockets.
Blue circle Power on button.
Orange circle Battery case.
Yellow line I will propably cut the wires off this line.

My plan is to cut off the battery area and the power on button... and add a 9v battery and a switch.
I could just change the button to a switch, so that i can turn it on/off... but i want a better battery.

I just recently found a led kit from my local hardware stor (designed for interior/exterior of cars).
It comes with 4 leds (perfect!) including sockets... so that you can change the leds.

It only costs 15CHF (15.0000032 US. Dollars), (im buying it after i get my helmet casted).

Anyways i will try to find the same thing from the internet and post it to you guys... i just wanted to let you know before anyone buys a soldering iron etc.

The lights Where ULTRA BRIGHT... and the best of all you can plug it straight into a 9v battery

simply... it's like "plug and play"

Not yet, i will get the name tomorrow... and buy the product.
It's actually cheaper to buy the set instead of... soldering iron, leds etc.

Can you just wire the leds with out useing a soldering iron? Because all you have to do is pull off the insulation and twist the two wires together

it's got "plugs" you can just pull the leds off small sockets.
You wont need to solder at all.

It includes everything... It even has a "press to try" button (so you can try it in the store).
And yes... they where SUPER BRIGHT.

my mom got me some for my car when I turned 16 and they are junk. They dont stay on all the time they only come on when this a bump from them and they are not constant. they flash.

No they dont flash, my lights are different (besides, i'm in europe... stuff change here)

Anyways, i dont think it's an excuse to hold the broken keyboard buttons for 5 seconds... even if they are broken.
windows has a virtual keyboard... (on-screen). I'm cant remember where it was on windows xp.. i i'm not sure if vista has one.
