First build, ODST 3d print

This is the method I use on both my spartan and ODST for all my strapping. Works extremely well for foam, vacuum formed, and 3d printed parts. I also help secure the shoulders with some velcro too. You can also disguise the harness as a form of climbing/parachute rig to better fit your build.

Thanks man that's actually a super neat strap setup and not hard to make at all. I don't know how to sew but that could easily be done with some super glue as well.

Here's an update on my current progress. I'm probably going to print everything and then get started on sanding/painting

I actually just got my visor in and it looks like it's gonna fit great! Visibility isn't too bad either. Especially if it's gonna be in a well-lit room like at a con.

I'm looking into buying some cosplay foam to back the chestpiece and the whole torso piece that wraps around the body, neck and inner thighs. Any tips? Was just thinking about getting some thin foam off of amazon unless anyone has some recommendations. Thanks guys!

It’s looking good so far! How’s it coming along currently? Eva foam from Amazon could be a good way to add some comfort or just foam picked up from michaels or whatever similar store you have near by. Anywhere from an inch thick to less, and you can always cut that stuff to be thinner too. I believe you can get it in black but if there’s only white you can always paint it too.
