Oh no! If I was smarter I would have slice everything and used magnets to connect it all. Trying to squeeze my foot in with all the padding is scary.

The convention was a success! I did suffer a major malfunction halfway through, my pants fell off! Luckily staff had a cosplay emergency kit and I was able to pin the belt holding everything together to last a few more hours. I found more halo cosplay this go around. Of course mini Chiefs, but I found an ODST and two other spartan 3s! They said they're part of the Facebook group so I'm unaware of who they are. I caught them as I was exciting to change. Really cool dudes.

Thanks to Asgardianhammer for these decals and PerniciousDuke for the tutorial! I finally started on the final details for my build. All that's left is to do the rest and start adding blackwash to everything. Hopefully that'll add a little darker tone to my green suit. I just started with the helmet for now and it looks so good. Only a few weeks left until Galaxy Con, I still need to get totes to transport everything and possibly do the designs for those too.

you can find 5v blower fans on amazon, both wired via USB and able to be soldered

Sorry i haven't posted a photo yet. But I got a voice Amplifier with wired headset. Right now the speaker is under my suit with the wire tucked in. I haven't mounted it to my helmet yet but will post pictures once I do! As for the motor I did what Rock Lobbster mentioned and soldered them to a button and aaa batteries. There should be photos of those in this thread. If not let me know and I'll take new photos! Got everything off Amazon.

Welp, it's con season here and you guessed it, I'm adding a new color to my suit. I finally decided on a secondary that compliments the green, and when I black wash the whole suit it'll look even better. Right now I just did the forearms and shins. I have my local con this weekend so hourly I'll have everything done by then, I still need to mount the headset to my helmet, fix the belt issue, and sew on the velcro patches into the morphsuit. I also want to make the chest pouches out of foam so I'll need to look in the armory for those files.

I need to adjust the shoulder straps, fix the belt, and thigh belt. But i think this looks great!! I will finally be done with this build.

The day was a success!! I only had one wardrobe malfunction but it wasn't terrible. My BR did fall and a chunk at the end broke, which is also fixable and not too noticeable. And I won 2nd place in the contest!! It's funny when people ask if I'm wearing stilts, nope!

A little detail from Precision Props! Looks really cool, just need to trim down the bolt. It didn't feel good drilling into the helmet, but beauty is pain!
