Hello fellow makers! I would be undertaking my second and probably favorite armor, ODST! My goal is to have it look almost exactly like this concept art also have it done by Dragon Con:

Alright got the base chest almost done, just waiting for the 6mm foam to come in for the "shoulder strap" and neck piece to finish it, hoping I scaled right. Anyway is the progress pics!

So going to go ahead and get my "tacticool" backpack/rucksack printed and start building it. I would have done the chestplate and stomach plate, side plate, so on and so on, just dont know if I got the sizing right until my 6mm foam comes in to tighten up the base chest.

Looks a little crooked the left side but once I get the bottom done it should straighten out, or heat up and bend it straight.

I'll heat it up when both sides are done and glued together then fill in the seams and all that cool jazz! Loving the somewhat cleanliness of the build compared to my first build.

Also went ahead and "pinned" it to my base chest piece/vest, I loved how it matches up, Hugh did a great job on the files!

zachturner009, great job so far........just one thing.....That chest piece add on, seems a bit too large. It goes on the chest......but it shouldn't cover the WHOLE torso. It should be less than your neckline to your sternum and lined up pit to pit. It might just be the picture's angle.....

Yeah I believe it is, the base plate stops exactly at ribs which is roughly 14 in away from my waist it, but it does only cover the chest, I'm a fairly bulky guy, I can put it on for ya if you want sir, I do appreciate the worry though!
