Forming my helmet first step how much clay

Hey guys i was wondering how much of this clay do i need to buy to start forming my helmet

25-30 pounds.

Also just in my opinion if you dont have much experience with sculpting it would prob be a good idea to use the soft clay as the medium and hard are quite tough to work with. But they do show detail alot better

i see it as clay being reusable so you can do it in sections if you need to
