Using the guides/tutorials posted elsewhere in the forums for reference(they were very informative), I managed to cobble together this crude 1st try of a prop set just before Halloween last year.
It'll all look more convincing once I've sanded/sealed/caulked/painted everything and attached the eye-piece. I plan to add a speaker system as well(this thread in particular was educational: Simple Helmet Speaker System) so that talking with the helmet on sounds more "correct". ...Once this is done, I'll likely try putting together a Reach Grenadier!Spartan or Halo 2/3 M. Chief helmet+armor set.
