Getting creative around the park.

I've never had such a winter as this year where I have been as sick for so long. Five bouts of the flu this season with bronchitis and today a burst eardrum. No work on Iron Man at home or the observatory, but every now and then I get a little reprieve and some rainy days at work where I have to find something to do in the workshop.

One of our lovely ladies donated a couple of chaff bags full of horse-shoes and I found a very old and suspect recovery chain with a home-made hook on the end of it.

Well, one thing led to another and things happened.

I also got busy with the chainsaw, flap-disks, some files and sandpaper and made an ugly cut-off tree stump look even uglier.

Thanks man. Nah, just drowned it in decking oil. Thanks for reminding me, I need to go give it another hit now that it's been out in the rain a few weeks.

Thanks mate. I ended up painting the pelican then added a couple more welding and chainsaw sculptures around the park before my job was filled by another person and I was forced to leave the parks.
