bought some material from joann fabric today and found some cool stuff. The yaya han collection super hex although has a nice hex pattern is unfortunately too small, Each hexagon is only about the size of a pen tip however in the yaya han collection you can find some leather looking 4way stretch material in a flat black that I think would look great in joint areas however it costs about $25 a yard.

I used that Exact material for my chief undersuit . the hex that is....

it does have a superb print, just size really takes from it and makes it not what I'm looking for. I was told that I can find both thin foam that has 1/4 hexagons and also silicon sheets with the 1/4 hexagons as well.
