My mom was cleaning the house ( Yes I live with my mom, Im only 13!lol) and she found a 1999 Bestbuy AD ;D
I found the game section and scaned it too my computer, so here it is! Can you believe that a Nintendo 64 Game is $59.99?
Theirs :
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time ( I love that game)
Yoshi's Story
Star Wars Rogue Squardron
Banjo Kazooie ( I love that game too ;D)
NFL Blitz 2000
Mario Golf
Pokemon Snap
The best part is that I own ALL of these Nintendo 64 games !

Haha, when I was smaller I never realized how expensive those were.. If you raised that for inflation it'd be a bit more nowadays..haha.

The local Toys 'R' Us had original Gameboy and NES ads in the store until they (within the past 3 months) redesigned the store.

Those truly were the days.........for me atleast lol. The n64 jumpstarted my gaming life you could say. The atomic purple controller was the biggest thing in my school, if you had one you were a god.......then everyone had one a week later lol.

Oh, a few years ago, I found it was a 1992 (I think it was 1992) Sears Wishbook. If you don't know what a Wishbook is, it was a HUGE toy and game catalog.

They had an NES + the Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cartridge for $129.99. I was flabbergasted when I saw the price. I am glad that I can get NES games at the price that I can now.

I still have my original NES somewhere, in working condition. Not so sure about the games tho lol.

Tater, not to be off topic but what is your avatar? the guys look kinda creeps me out..........

That, my friend, is the Hypno Nigra. That is only a portion of the original picture. I had to do some major facial reconstruction and fix some lighting issues for it to be usable as an avatar.

It's really strange. A couple of years ago, you could go to the store and buy a VCR and a ton of VHS tapes for the same price that DVDs and DVD players are going for now.

Thanks!

Ahh good old days, N64 made me a game addict, and I have no regrets. :D

But yea, back then, it was all about Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, with the original Super Smash Bros.

Good times, good times....

What, no Burger Time?

In all seriousness, I have all of those N64 games except Blitz. Ah, the good old days of gaming... for me anyways.

I still have a few new boxed systems... NES, TurboDuo, Jaguar, Dreamcast, PS, xbox, gamecube...

And about the ad, you don't want me to bust out a few game magazines from back in the days ;)

The only regret I have about owning a N64 is that I could have done something alot better with my time than finish Donkey Kong 64. That took, forever. At the end I was missing 3 bananas for Lanky and I still can't find them... XD

WOW The whole N64 system was only 100 bucks? Sheesh, you would think I would remember this, but sadly I don't haha. :D
Man, I want Twisted metal back...

Twisted metal is by far the best game on there! lol
