Hello again everyone!

Back again with another build, although havent posted for a bit I have been working on multiple suits.

So far with THIS build, all i have complete is the Helmet!!





Next was the chest piece. Made mostly of eva foam it will have 3D printed small detailed parts.




Plan is for Recon chest and shoulders with contour thighs, shins and boot.
Still looking for a file I like for the gauntlets.

ALRIGHT! Update time.

Finished the back of the main chest piece, really loving the wings lol





Plans for the armor :
* 3D Print Small detailed parts
* Vacuum form over the foam to make plastic parts
* LED's so the helmet isn't alone in looking brilliant!


Side note, the lovely lady and I will be attending a parade on the 4th dressed as ODST's!!
So here is progress pics finishing up her armor.






Chest piece i've added small details to that aren't shown in this last picture.

Aside from armor, i collect the Boomco weapons and Mega Bloks.

Helmet is done by Jose, right? I've seen him doing that exact helmet and it's his style of doing the lit up visors, etc.

Thanks! Yes it is Jose's! He did an amazing job on the helmet and I love it! I do plan on doing some upgrades to it later down the road.

*UPDATE*

Officially 2 weeks left until Dragon Con 2016!!!

Wrapping up everything to get ready for the con.
Got the undersuit printed and sewn together, all armor pieces are build aside from shins and boots and
magnetized the Boomco pistol to the thigh armor. The amount of time I have spent staring at an HD rendering
of the recon armor from halo 4/5 to get most of the details added to this suit.

Thanks!! I've been going crazy on this armor lol, having tons of fun!! I have more to post on my GF's ODST aswell. It needs a few more detailed pieces, Belt/pads/ decals. But all should be good for Dragon con!!

Hey, if possible could I get the designs for the armor because I'm trying to build a halo 4 or 5 recon suit out of metal in my welding class. I'd have two hours a day, 5 days a week, starting probably in the next two weeks.

Would not recommend making the recon out of metal, it has allot of complex shapes and designs on it that will be extremely difficult to replicate with metal. BUT if you still build it anyways, i wanna see a thread on that ;D

well... minus the butt plate and gloves.... i digress.

I was still painting the suit before the final day of departure to Dragoncon, but everything came together in the last second and
I think it looks alright!

Without further adieu... My Halo 5 Recon Multiplayer Spartan!











Along side the Spartan, I had finished painting and weathering my lovely girlfriends Veronica Dare ODST suit aswell.
This being her first Halo Cosplay, she was ecstatic and i couldnt be happier to be running around Dcon with Buck's Lovely Lady

Overall both suits were very fun builds and not that complex would recommend contoured (thigh, shins, boot, knee, gauntlets) for beginners or those looking for easy Halo 5 armor.

So happy to be a part of the parade and I cant thank the 405th in general for being able to have such an amazing event!!
Thank you to everyone that attended Dcon 2016 you all were awesome and amazing people and I cant wait to see you all again
at other events and at Dragoncon 2017!!!!!

I'm trying to do the Recon armor as well. However the pepakura file for paper confused me with the tabs to cut. Do you know where I can get foam templates for the armor??

Bro this looks very well done! Congrats bro! I have to ask, how much did it cost you to get the under suit printed on to the fabric? It has the perfect tones, and texture to it. I wonder if it would be possible to add padding underneath it? It would pop even more! Also, do ya mind sharing the company that printed the fabric for you? And again, excellent work on putting everything together!
