Halo 4 DMR dimensions

I've been planning to make the halo 4 dmr out of foamcore board but ive been having trouble finding the correct dimensions for it. I've looked on the halo wiki for dimensions but it says it is 47 inches long, which doesnt make much sense. Can anyone give me dimensions or blueprints or suggestions for a halo dmr? Any help would be appreciated

I've gone through all the DMR files in the 405th 2012 database. here i've come up with a model which looks pretty accurate. The length from the very tip of the barrel to the end of the stock is 899mm.
This i've compare to my paintball marker (tippmann 98, with socom stock and flatline barrel) looks pretty much like the DMR and the DMR should come out a little over 9cm longer.

Conclusion: 899mm should be the way to go. Atleast if your average in heigth this will be a nice size and gine it the right feeling.

yup, from the same pepakura file:
length 899mm (tip of barrel till rear of stock)
height 239mm (upper part of the scope till bottom of the handgrip) measured straight up
width 38mm (measured at the thickest part of the stock)

all compared to my paintball marker these measurements seems to make sence.

You could get the pepakura file and the designer for free from the internet. That way you can measure every piece yourself, and check things while building.
