Hi y'all!
I'm very new to this whole thing and I'm making my own helmet to try out my skills. But I have come to a problem I thought of while making it. How would anyone suggest doing the helmet, as it is a very different look and cannot be created out of bike helmets. I have looked and maybe using "Fun Beads" or something and melting them to fit in a mold. I would like to ask anyone's suggestion on how to do this.
Thanks!
Ben

Have you ever heard of Pepakura? It is a preferred method for building helmets in this community and with good practice can take very little time to learn. Here's a guide to how it works: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php?t=8791

Also, I would not recommend melting fun beads. Plastic toxins are bad to inhale.

I have heard of it and I think I will be doing that for the helmet. But due to the very intricate design of the visor of the Rogue helmet, I won't be able to do very many of the more common methods of visor making. That is my main problem as of now.

I know some people have used plastic sheeting and either made a simple vacuum former or used heat to bend and form plastic. Search around the forums there are quite a few different techniques for what you want to accomplish.
