oh and Sandbox sucks in Matchmaking. But it's cool in Forge

LastSpartan is right, sandbox sucks in matchmaking but is awesome in forge. Me and my friends have made like 10 maps already. Orbital and Assembly are harder to forge on, but they are fun in matchmaking.

I personally don't think they were worth my money... I mean, they are good maps, but they could be better. Sandbox, as previously stated, sucks in matchmaking, but the Forgeability is great (like my made up words? ). Orbital just confused the hell out of me at first, and I'm still trying to get used to it. The only one that I really, really like is Assembly, but that doesn't justify the 800 Microsoft Point price tag. Maybe I'll come around, granted I haven't played them much, but for now, I don't like them all that much.

I hope you know they mean Halo Wars, not Halo 3.

Anyways, The map pack is amazing.
Ive already made a few mods on it, like on Assembly so the scarabs are inside the map, etc. It was fun.

Does anyone know if the achievements that come with the mythic map pack are available on the version that comes with halo wars? I can't get xbox live cause of my internet, so the only way I'd be able to get the maps is if I bought halo wars. Plus, that's the only way I'd be able to get my gamerscore to 1000, and get the security, and katana. I'm just not sure if I want to blow $80 plus tax, just to get my guy looking the way I want.

you don't need to pay money to get 1000 gamer score, you can get it in the one month free trial, and you need xbl to get the mabs w/ the code i believe

Yeah, I know, but the thing is, I'm on sattelite internet. Way out in the country, it's kind of like a pulse signal between your dish at the house and the sattelite in space. I haven't been able to ever fully enjoy any computer, or video games online because of the pulse connection. I always end up warping all over the map whenever I walk. Do you know if I'd be able to access the xbox live store without like.. playing halo? Like, would I have the same problem as when I play when I try to access the store? Because if I could, then that would solve all my problems! I could just buy a 1600 point card and log on one time.

Does anyone know if this might work?
