Halo reach helmet interior (accurate)

Hello everybody, I was wondering if anybody has gone the route of doing 100% accurate to the game helmet padding? Just to be clear, I’m not looking for suggestions on padding I should use for comfort. I’ve already got padding that I religiously use for comfort. Just wondering if anybody knows of or has the padding used? I’ve included two crummy photos from the game. Lol

From those images it looks like spandex (or similar stretchy fabric), or even leather wrapped around what I guess would be foam, like upholstery foam. This is the same sort of idea that a few people have used for their undersuits.

Okay, I’ll have to check out those option. I was looking at it and thought I’ve seen it on hockey equipment for the interior parts of it, I think shoulder pads. I can’t remember for sure unfortunately!
