Halo reach marine WIP

Well I was apart the 405th in the early years. Lost the old account and created a new one in 2012. Been busy with life, but I'm back.

Getting ready for megacon in Orlando. Working on my halo reach marine armor(dont see many of those). It will be a mixture or foam, 3d printed, and good old pepakura.


Currently I have my shotgun printed out. It came out WAY to huge but it'll have to do till have the con. To give you an idea, I'm 6ft, 225lbs and this shotgun eclipses me, lol. I'll be painting tomorrow.

I LOVE the shotgun! I'd rather it be big than have the tiny boomco one! I bet that'll pack a punch!

Shoulder. Not my model, all I did was add some detail. Definitely to small, will need to chop it up and scale it up.

Yea that's true. I'll probably sell if off cheap and reprint it at 85% after megacon

Agreed, the M45 is an 8ga beast, might as well make it look big and imposing!

Dude, yours looks so much nicer. Mine doesn't have details like that. I may try to add them later.

Thanks friend, it's a model I designed and I spent a long time surface finishing and painting it. Adding detail into yours won't be too hard if you want to, once paint is on yours it'll look awesome though!

that'll be something to do on the next print, i'll just have to stick with what i got for now. currently i have 5 different projects going on at once, lol.

And I'm back. Sorry guys. I had moved and some armor pieces gor destroyed, then I joined the Navy, I was gone for training. Now I'm back and started working on my armor again.

This time I opted for foam work as I've never done it and felt it would be more forgiving that hard plastic that takes forever to print.

Tomorrow I'm going to finish painting and hope my working on the straps and details.
