If you want a low-def version, there is an un-unfolded low def sniper rifle in ruze's "official reach files" thread in the pep/cardboard armor section.

I apologize for the double post, but....

Clip and the receiver are pepped, resined, ready for rondo then on to the grip.

Any chance you could make the separate pieces available as .obj or .stl files? I'm looking for something else to build on my carving machine.

this is phenominal...

one thing though...

doesnt the sniper rifle have a bipod on it?

is there any way that could b incorperated into a verson 2 of the pep?

It does have a bipod and a carrying handle, but it would be simpler (at least I think) to scratch build those after the rifle is finished. The two circular parts just behind the barrel are the attachment points, so it shouldn't be very difficult.

you can export it a obj on pep 3 then separate all you need

what do u recomend for the bipod and handle? i wz thinking the biopd off of the nerf n-strike longshot cs-6?

For the bipod, sheet styrene of a decent thickness (at least 1/16") should work pretty well. For the handle, I'd use a thin (maybe 14 or 10 guage) metal rod bent to shape.

Ok, folks. Here's the moment you've been waiting for. It's finished! Unfolded in seven major sections and absolutly zero open edges. L3X BLU3R1V3R gave us a great model, I only hope I did it justice with the unfold. So, here it is...

Pep 3 version: http://www.4shared.com/file/EsKOc9-m/Halo_-_Reach_Sniper_Rifle.html

Pep 2 Version: http://www.4shared.com/file/UpVBWVB4/Halo_-_Reach_Sniper_Rifle_Pep_.html

There you go, 46 pages of sniper glory. For anyone who has not seen my pep files, I don't use the dots and dashes for the different folds. I set all lines to solid lines so they can be seen even in the smallest of tabs. Red lines are mountain folds, and blue lines are valley folds. The different sections are organized in the page order, so you can print off a few pages to build the receiver, a few more to build the clip, etc. That way you don't have a ton of paper laying around, getting lost.

Enjoy!
You don't need to release the pep 3 file. Pep 3 opens pep 2 files. Great job BTW.

Its true that pep 3 can open pep 2 files. But, pep 2 can't open pep 3 files. That is why files were released for both versions.

True, but since it was opened in pep 3, it was released in pep 3. Someone asked for a pep 2 release, so the pep 2 file was just edited into the release post.

No need to nit pick :)

That's why I always file>export>pepakura 2 file. Because pep 2 can open pep 2 files *DUH* and pep 3 can open pep 2 files. It's easier for me.
