Cortana was designed to be "computer" like, all AIs are designed to look different and come with different "personallities" and such.

Cortana was designed to be "computer" like, all AIs are designed to look different and come with different "personallities" and such.

The AI pictured in this thread is NOT Cortana it's Serina or whatever her name is.

They could have kept the same "frame" or "uniformity" but still be modeled after different people. Like Cortana was modeled after some scientist person.

They shouldn't have changed how the Brutes look. They shouldn't have made the Elites so much bigger either.

Cortana was modeled after Dr. Catherine Halsey - her brain, not her body. AI's are not even restricted to humanoid forms. There are multiple references in the books (regarded as canon) to different AI holographic avatar types. Basically the design team could have used anything they wanted and been technically correct. Looking at the target demographic for the game, they just happened to select another attractive female human as a model... go figure...

It is also stated that AI's chose there own avatar, normally based on the personality of the person they where modeled from. I'm not sure if it work in a similar way for "dumb" AI's, they might just assigned an avatar.
