Only thing I didn't like was like the brutes would move from advance looking armor(halo wars), to have near to none armor then back to advance armor. It's like they hit a depression in halo 2 and then found a gold mine in Halo 3 It's just my opinion on that. Although they do look more tribal.

In Halo 2 only Tartarus's pack is shown, and the chieftain decides what armor they use.

Also, Whats funny is, these renders will only be in cutscenes, because the actual gameplay has not the greatest graphics ( Like fully purple covenant...)

hmm yeah I think they made the brutes look too, manish (if thats a valid descriptor). They look more like a man-tiger. They dont look nearly enough like a gorilla mixed with a rhino and a bit of chewbacca. oh well im still goanna buy the game and most likely love it.

sadly, based on what i've seen thus far, im doubtful that Halo Wars will get an amazing rating. just look at Star wars:TFU, it was hyped like crazy and yet it didnt fullfill, and got a mediocre rating

I like the AI. She looks like, I dunno, a more Human Cortana. Cortana kinda looks like she's trying too hard to look like an AI, but this one, She looks comfortable with what she is. IMHO.

And as for the captain, I would say he's a generic Sci-fi Milititary Old Guy. Tarkin's exactly that, it's just he's also a Member of the Empire.

Yeah, I'd almost be willing to be pretty hardcore odds that that guy is evil. My guess for him, probably your typical character on the good team who's just a little too strict and takes way to severe action and winds up being more of a hinderance then a help.. Just based on the characters he looks like.. he seems way to stereotypical. Bet either you kill him, or his rogueish thirst for blood gets the better of him and he's slain brutally by his enemies. (god I hope the game isn't this predictable)

The AI i am Presuming is Dr Hasley.

My guess is it isnt an AI. Its some sort of holographic projection, like a message.

Those who didnt know, Dr Halsey is Cortanas Host. Cortana was made from Dr Hasleys brain.
And it does remind me of Cortana alot. So my guess is that its Dr Hasley.
The first picture has to be her. It looks so much like Cortana but human.
The Second one looks like an AI or a Hologram.
Dr Halseys brain was cloned several times and they made AI's from it. Cortana was the only "Smart" one. Prehaps the second one was another AI made by Dr Halseys brain scans, but not quite as smart as Cortana. Or its a hologram of Dr Hasley when she was younger.

Plus. this really doesnt make sense. Brutes werent even known to the Covenant at that time, let alone the Humans.
Same goes for the Flood, and i heard there would be Flood in this aswell. The story doesnt make sense in the slightest. But gameplay is more important than story In my opinion.

I thought that the Brutes joined the Covenant After Halo 1.

Well we know that the Humans didnt know about the Brutes until after Halo 1. So if Humans will be going against Brutes. it wouldnt make sense. Unless all the humans died at the end and couldnt get the Brute information to other Ships.

I know. But its a Possibility That its Dr Hasley, Its just a Guess. I cant be sure.

Have you read Contact Harvest? The first time humans come across the Covenant they got tangled up with some Jackals and eventuallyTartarus and his uncle (i think) then went to Harvest to deal with the human population.... that was well before Halo 1 happend :]

The flood was not discovered until Halo 1. But thats still going on halo wars.

Where does it confirm or say anything about the Flood in Halo Wars?
