Has anyone tried using carbon fiber instead of fiberglass for making a costume?

What the title says. Has anyone tried using carbon fiber or carbon fiber AND fiberglass together? Or maybe some type of hybrid material like carbon fiber+kevlar? What were the results? Is it worth it? I'd like my armor to also have a bit of strenght to it, so im wondering if there are alternatives to fiberglass...

As a reminder for everyone, discussing adding additional strength and durability to our costumes is fine, but keep in mind that we are not qualified and as such do not allow discussions for making armor or costumes that offer any level of protection.

How much more strength are you looking for? I ask because as Cadet points out, we're a cosplay group and not here for safety armor.
And because my printed armor is solid as all get out. I can't think of a single situation where this armor would ever be "not enough". I would have to lay it on the ground and jump on top of it full 200 pounds of me to break open the chest. Honestly if I rolled down a flight of stairs like that infamous stormtrooper, I bet the armor would be paint chipped but otherwise fine.

So maybe let's approach this from: What is it you think is weak that *need* all this added strength? Are you planning on doing a cardboard build perhaps?

No, Im doing pepakura. Don't have 3D printer, unfortunetally. And it's not as much about safety as it is about endurance. I'd like SOME armor pieces (The helmet is an exception) to be strong enough for other activites. Im talking about STRENGHT not SAFETY. I just need the armor to be STRONG enough, not to do any type of PROTECTIVE role, like shock absorbtion or other stuff.

Atleast that's what I'd like to do.
