hmm, it looks like a great undersuit, the zippers in front but I guess the armor peices will cover that up. If you want high detailed undersuit from halo 3, halo2, ect. You will need to use another undersuit. Otherwise somehow maybe you use plastic, sew your own detail, ect.

It should work good as long as you're not to worried about being really true and accurate to the look. Another option is sports ware called Under Armor same thing goes for this to but it does not have a zipper because it is sold as a top and pants? Just throwing an idea out I thought about using Under Armor my self it's just that the price is steep.At least for me right now.
