Sad whenever someone gets killed or dies in their home. But there is one thing I dont get, who is this guy? I've never heard of him.

Whoa... wonder what that means for the new Batman films??

Bummer, it might cast a shadow over the release of the movie..

Wait what? this guy plays batman? Or what role did he play in the batman movies? I'm confused on who this man is.

Whether or not he was going to be a character in a movie shouldn't be the concern here people... a Man died. He had a two year old child he left behind, her name is Matilda Rose. Come on...

Youre right. Forget movies. He died, had a Kid, and was adored by many. Sorry for Arguing.

Oh! Now I know who you are talking about, after adam listed all the movies he was in, I now remember him. But Spase, you are right, he has a 2 year old left behind, and a fatherless family is a saddened family.

I'm just blown away by this.. Hollywood has been buzzing about his inspired performance in the Dark Knight. I just worry that this is going to cast a shadow over future films being made. The film has been completed and they'll probably delay the release in honor of his passing.. It's just horrible that the last film he did is so uncharacteristic for him, I hope people don't remember him for the Joker.. which in this iteration is supposed to be truly evil and psychopathic..

I was really looking forward to him taking the role for a few films... I guess this will be his sendoff.

Apparently he worked very hard at the Joker role, isolating himself to understand and re-imagine the character. He claimed that it affected him psychologically, that he had trouble sleeping more that 2-3 hours a night because of the character..

Maybe this role in the film somehow lead him to his death? But then like Sean said, those who dont know him, now they will remember him as the joker, and not as the great actor in all the other films he was in.

More details are out now. The found him in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment, very likely drug-related. They found lots of pills. :(

Reminds me a bit of when Brandon Lee died while filming the Crow.. I guess it's just the make-up..
