Thats the stupidest thing ever.
Not the blade ofcourse.
But the safety. You say you stress it, but you don't.
A dremel in a house? I've said enough.
Just safety glasses.. Sure, that helps, but what about the fine metal dust that can make your lungs bleed?
Safety > convienence.
I know I've been a little rash on the subject, but I can't stress it enough.

I thought that video was really helpful, actually. But Ill probably be using Plastic or something instead of a real blade.
 
thats a good idea, have you ever thought about using a spring to accomplish the action? the string could be used to unlatch the knife and then away it goes!



the only thing with that is,

1) you could stab yourself!

2) you must re-set it manually



Personally I have never played assassins creed but I have thought of doing this for a ninja cosutme
