How do I attach my armour to me?

Hi, I've 3D printed my armour and have now got to the point of attaching it to me and I've got a couple ideas but no solid solution.

How do y'all do it?

Thanks

What ive found from mine, the torso/upperarm/wrist didnt need any, apart from some thick low density foam in them to sort of hold them in place. The thighs and calf armour is currently held together with a flat fabric strip which runs down the outside of my leg attaching using velcro but i plan to use Epoxy glue,D-Fasteners and velcro straps in the future. This attached to a utility belt which goes underneath the secondary belt which holds the armour pieces for the belt. The boots are made around an old pair of Primark shoes so just go on like normal. The helmet i have padded with foam making sure to leave the ears and mouth unobstructed. I also wear some thin under armour long sleeve vest and leggings with an open face balaclava to complete the look. I hope this helps. Happy to respond with images if helps.

This is kind of an open-ended question and it's going to depend on what armor you've printed and who designed it.

The most common methods involve using nylon webbing, buckles, and elastic straps glued onto the inside of the armor shells. I personally use a shoulder harness like this and I've rigged the thighs, belt, and shoulders to it using a combination of 1 1/2" and 1" nylon webbing and quick-release buckles. The inside of my thighs and biceps also have an elastic strap for added security. You can check out my build thread for some examples.

Here are a couple of other threads you can check out for inspiration that I found informative. They're intended for foam armor but a lot of the principles carry over.

My snaps tutorial works with 3d prints, so long as you use a strong adhesive for the nylon straps attached to the snaps (such as shoe goo or fiberglass

For my suit I made a harness using nylon webbing that goes from the waist piece up to my shoulders, with a buckle in the front to hold it tight. More nylon and buckles attach from the waist to the thighs and shins. Chest, shoulders and forearms are held in place with padding or by just resting in place.
