i know costco would have it... i got my playstation2 from there the afternoon after it came out... they had plenty in stock and there was no line at all.

people dont think to get video games there...

i say playstation 2 because thats the only thing ive ever gotten on the day it came out and the launch was huge...

and unless your computer is an apple laptop it is not worth it to resell. you can build a damn-fine quad core with dual 8xxx geforce for under 2 grand nowadays. apple laptops seem to keep or go up in value for some strange reason *cough* morons *cough*.

well my computer is 7 years old and i do not want to sell it. compaq vr-7000 evolution with the geforce 2 ultra upgrade and it runs ut2004 and doom3 just fine. at least in linux. i tried installing windows and running the games in that and it got like 10 or 20 fps in doom3. not usable at all. i get 40 or 50 fps in doom 3 in linux (you need a consistent 30fps or it gets too choppy) i have a really shitty p3 that i put windows on to play halo, being a 7 year old game it runs on darn near anything

pentium 4 1.5ghz
1152mb 800mhz rambus (same memory as n64, ps2, ps3, etc)
geforce 2 ultra
creative SBaudigy df80
network card, usb2, etc. all the goodies.
400gb hard drive

so its worthless.

and the dell xps is a 933mhz p3
just got (3) 21 inch NEC monitors from school for FREE so im going to be getting a new video card soon as well.


at least if you sell your computer take out your hard drive first. while the person you give it to may want pictures of you dancing nude, or your credit card history, or whatever, you probably dont want them to have it. or else fill it with random bits.
