hey i was working on my helm and i thought of a interesting idea what if you do a light resin coat just to the the paper strong then sprayed the inside with that insta foam stuff tehn make a rubber overmold to make a harden plastic version of it instead of useing many coats of resin. but it was just an idea i don;t know if the paper would hold or not but i might try it

Sray Foam will not get into all the cracks and stuff easily and if you didn't bondo it it wouldn't have much detail.

Spray foam = BAD IDEA

printer paper = WONT WORk

Gotta read the stickies ;)

The stickies say to use cardstock and they show how to resin and fiberglass, much easier than using spray foam and hoping it works, we know resin works ;)

What they said, lol

Also, I honestly don't think applying just one layer of resin/fiberglass would make it strong/durable enough. Granted, I'm not going that route with my own helmet, but that's my take on it...

1 layer of fiberglass if covering all areas inside will be enough to just wear, but I'd suggest 2 layers so you know it is durable.

1 coat of resin inside and outside, fiberglass the inside and glob resin, fiberglass inside with second layer, then resin the outside again, bondo, sand, paint.
