Hey everyone, been a long time since I last posted. Hope everyone is doing great and keeping busy, I know i have.
So for a good portion of last year I was hard at work building a 7ft tall and 12ft long Godzilla costume!!! At the moment, all thats left to do is add a little more texture to his shoulders, sides and legs as well as rig in stilts, a head mount for the wearer and mesh in the neck for visibility.
His head, hands and feet were all sculpted from clay, molded in Ultracal and cast in latex and expanding foam. His body is made from apolstry foam coated in spandex and latex with EVA foam for details like his spikes.
Here's where he stands right now.
Because his head is actually quite heavy and his body can't support weight, I had to construct a 4'x5'x8' frame to hold him up.
Now I must apologize for the lack of pictures on this page, my internet is being extraordinarily slow today (took a few minutes just to put the one up). That being said, the complete build is on my website and FB page here: http://soulproduct.weebly.com/ and here: https://www.facebook.com/#!/soulproducts
Please feel free to poke around both links and check out what else I've been up to while I've been gone. And don't forget to drop a LIKE on Facebook if you like what you see, I'll be updating this project as well as any others I might be working on, on both sites.
I'll update this project when I can but money is a little tight right now so it may be awhile.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
