Locust and Cog build

Whats up 405th Ka5p3r here, its been a very long time sense i have posted on the site. i have been keeping up to date for the most part but not doing any posting. i thought i would show everyone what i have been up to over the past few months sense dragon con. i am working a Flame thrower elite from gears of war 3 as well as my wifes Sam armor from gow3. i am going to post the way it looks now and might create another thread of the full builds later to help people with theirs own builds, anyway here are some pics as the stand now the locust is about 90% and the wifes sam is about 75

I think this is all im going to post as of now at the end of today ill post pics of my wifes build she has been working hard on it sense the last time i took pics so i wanna make sure i post the up to date ones, i hope you guys like how its looking.

Also just so everyone knows the armor is all Foam and the suit is a latex suit i did in the same way the guys at the lair do their predator suits, if you wanna know anything just ask

thanks brandon. Cancer: the helmet was all built from scratch sorry dude. if i get enuff response i might scan the templets of the helmet but im not sure im wealing to share all of them because i worked so hard on it all to get it just right.

i can understand that buddy, hats of to you on the amazing work. The onlt reason i asked is because i made a Locust skull prop and am looking for a helme tthat will do the ugly bastard some justice, and i tihnk that might be my guy, so i suppose ill try my hand at it. I also make predator skin, so if you ever need anything for future project hit me up big guy. Go to my profile and see the skull for yourself. Again. Just amazing mate.

Whats up guys got an update on my wifes armor. here are a couple of pics as it is now. we still have to finish the boots, add the lights and sew the ab armor after that itll be ready for Dragoncon

*jaw drops*..... Wow. This is intense. A wedded COG and LOCUST. Great work. I was hoping to get a simple COG suit for my girlfriend built but running out of time for SUPANOVA. (Might make her a stranded). This is awesome though! Looks like it has that steampunk element to it too!

I was super impressed with your locust build as you know, and now the COG armor, thats some great work buddy. Inspiring me to make a locust/cog combo for my wife and I. Keep up the goof work brother!

Very very nice. How do you go about making the templates for these? Been trying to plan out a Recruit Clayton/Anthony/Marcus frankensuit for a while now.

thanks guys for the comments. for me i Radio i just study the pics that i have and go from there, with me and my wife both being artests we are able to look and all the different angles in the part and break it up in to the small parts to be cut and glued, im using Xtreme tactics scaling method for them so that helps me out alot.

Both suits are quite simply amazing. I saw your locust go together on the hammer and I knew it would be redonk. With that said, the paint work on your wifes armor is amazing. SHe has mad skillz. Everything looks great!

I'm blown away by both of the armors. Especially the Locusts. As for Sam, I know my armor will never compare to yours because yours is just amazing. Like, whoa.
