Lol I Think This Should Be Masterchief's Main Theme

Though I like Disturbed, that has to be one of their dumbest music videos. Sort of ruins the song for me. Whoever directed that should be fired and never allowed to make another piece of film again.

My first thoughts after seeing this were "What the hell...". I used to like Disturbed when I was younger, still do to an extent but this video...You officially owe me 5 minutes of my life. Why do you think *that* should be the Chief's theme? Sure, there are those two quotes at the very beginning but besides that...personally, it didn't impress me.

I think it being the Chief's theme would have less to do with the video (i agree the video was a poor choice, with the lyrics to this song and its tone, you could have easily done something much cooler) and more to do with the lyircs of the song:
"Another mission
The powers have called me away
Another time
To carry the colors again
My motivation
An oath Ive sworn to defend "

"Indestructible
Determination that is incorruptible
From the other side
A terror to behold
Annihilation will be unavoidable
Every broken enemy will know
That their opponent had to be invincible
Take a last look around while youre alive
Im an indestructible master of war "

Kind of does describe the Master Chief, especially that part about incorruptible determination sticks out for me. The Chief and the other Spartans are totally dedicated to the cause. They are the consummate soldiers, they are incorruptible, almost to the point of being naive at some points in the books.

I agree with the lyrics, absolutely, it's just that the video is...yeah, a poor choice.

I honestly saw the actual video for the first time today, I actually didn't watch it right off the bat when posting this, just searched, copied and pasted, cause I was in a rush. Yea, the music video...is not good :ugh:

Its a good tune it would fit him well, but ya know the sayings on opinions lol. Theres some other tunes as well.

Five finger death punch- Death before dishonor
Led zeppelin- No quarter
Linkin park- Points of authority (not the remix version either) Also works for online play lol.
Lion- Never surrender- Old but a good description. Plus Lion did the transformers theme for the 80's movie lol.
Motograter- Suffocate
Manowar- Sons of Odin- Goes with Mjollnir- Thors hammer, Odin.........Oh yes.
Rob Zombie- Warzone
Three Days grace- Animal I have become
Trivium-A gunshot to the head of trepidation
Unleashed- Age of the warrior
George Thorogood- Bad to the bone

I could have an infinite list........but I will stop here.

Sincerely, this is one of their best videoclips. It's well made and showing some kind of evolution. It could be better of course.

Check Inside the Fire by Disturbed, you'll see what I mean...

I think theres more opinions in music than in religion. I listen to all kinds of music so. It passes as metal in my ears.

Iron Maiden is metal.

But if I said that to a kid today they'd say it isn't.

Long story short, stop changing the definition of music terms.

Disturbed is heavy rock/metal

Heavy metal...oh I don't know, GWAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to one of their shows and got covered in blood

Okay, disturbed is hard rock, not heavy metal. I was at their concert in august. Slipknot is nu metal. Not disturbed.

Oh, metal has so many subgenres, its hard to classify stuff. Kelly and I have similar tastes in music, so i kinda know what im talking about.

Iron maiden is new wave of british heavy metal, like black sabbath.

Have you ever heard of the different types of metal?
This is just plain metal, nothing else.
There is quite a lot of types, death metal, thrash metal, black metal, power metal, folk metal, symphonic metal, the list goes on.

Well that's a given, and to be expected.
I was just saying, it seems that the quality of the music from rock bands over the years has just degraded, at least for mainstream music.
Of course there are good bands, but you have to really look for them.

Indeed. Metallica went to crap, Maiden still rules, some bands win, some lose. Now Nightwish is a very good "symphonic metal" band. All their albums up to Dark passion play (when they fired the lead singer) are the Beez neez.
