Looking To Buy Odst For A B-Day Present

K, so, i'll start by saying that there are 10 people using this one acount, and one is my lil bro Dane. Dane started a thread called "Sigh.... Need Some Help, And Not Proud Of It" witch staited "we" needed help with a final ODST armor, and had five compleeted, that thread was about 80% lies. I was going to get mad at him for tarnishing our rep on this fourm (witch we just joined), but then i realised that he just wanted a set of armor for him self, since we dont have the time or materials to be making a 6th set of armor (we have barely enough for 2, and are stretching our budget ALOT to make the other 3, and it's only in pre construction so, sry, no pics.) So im going to use my next 3 pay checks and try and buy him a set, if one of you would be so kind as to sell one to me.



I think i have the armor he wants memorised since he blabs about in non-stop. He wants a Grey H3 ODST with a black tinted visor and a blood red stripe on the head, and the name "Bishop" stenseled in white on the forhead area of the stripe (got the idea from DARE's recon helm) To add a personal touch to it, im going to ask if a driping skull and cross bones could be put on the right shoulder in white (our H3 teams logo, minus the driping effect, if u cant, thats fine, i can do it my self when the armor gets here.) I can pay up to 200-230 bucks, and i'll throw in another 50-70 if i could get a shotgun with it (i'll buy the shoty seperate if i must, it's for me, not him lol)



If u dont belive me, then u dont have to, but it would mean alot to me and my bro if sum one could help me out with this.

sorry but I don't think you will get any armor that cheap and you should try to pm members who made odst armor already. and I think the shotgun wouldn't be that cheap either.

Your best bet would be to stick on the forums for a while and once you can use the classified section check there.



But not many people will just sell you armor right off the bat since that's not what this site is for.

I'm only saying this to be frank, and I understand your urgency for having an ODST suit, but comparative to what the makers of these sets of armour charge, $230 is an incredibly bad joke. Like others have said though, you can PM some of the people that have already completed suits and maybe ask them for price, they might be willing to let you know how much they're currently charging for some of their pieces. It is expensive though, and I mean investment expensive, not save up for a couple of weeks and get it expensive.. this implying investments = a really nice drum set, or your first decent car (could vary), or airsoft if you're into that. Compared to the amount of work that went into these suits, the price is fair. Compared to how much most people make, it is very expensive. Just something to keep in mind..



and with that being said, I would like to add that if you built it yourself, I'm sure your brother would appreciate it that much more. I know I would, take the time to build it up, even though you don't have the time right now. Just print out a picture of the helmet and put it in a box as a placeholder, it's what my parents did when they couldn't afford a new computer for me at the time of my birthday and as time passed, they eventually got it for me and I was just as happy with it. Armor doesn't have anywhere near as close prices as that. A more accurate estimate would be $700-$1300 for a suit of any decent quality.



As for the OP, I've said it once, and I'll say it again: The OP is just whining his way into a cheap ODST suit (which won't work). Maybe if he'd shown some progress and asked for help honestly, he'd get it, but of course he takes the:

Agreed. In response to this topic, sorry to let you know man, but everyone is right. And ODST chest plate is currently running around 70 bucks, not to mention the helm with visor costs around 150. But like the others say, you probably just need to build it yourself, you'll enjoy the process more.

There are no ODST retail products.

The armor you buy here (E.g a suit for 1 grand) Is pro. Best of the best, your "Retail professional" fail will not live up to its name.



The only Retail armor that is sold is Rubies Armor. And that sucks ASS.
