Hello all! Figured I’d start my first build thread with a bang! Currently I am working on an M6D magnum, the file is from CollinMcCaf that I printed, sanded, and airbrushed, only need to do the weathering now.

Looking good, that black wash you added really helped add some texture.

BUILD UPDATE: added a wash and dry brushing to certain areas, all I need to do is fabricate a trigger and the prop is finished!

also yes Alex, I finally checked out The Forums.

The prop is finally finished! This is my first fully airbrushed prop and it was an absolute joy to paint!

I already said it on the discord but I'll say it again, that magnum looks amazing! Really started off your first build thread with a "blast"! Also how would you compare airbrush to spray paint? I've only done spray paint and have still gotten good results, especially with car paint, but I always hear people talk about airbrush.

It’s smooth and really easy to control, the air brush leaves a really nice even coat compared to spray paint.
