Once again, I'm trying to make a functional Halo gun out of a Nerf gun.
But this time, I'm only using the internals of the Nerf Longshot front-gun, and give them a new home in an RP-body.
The body is modeled to 80% so far, but i need some advice from you now - how exactly are the grip plates of the M6D from reach looking? I found several references online, but they all seem to use different styles.
What i got so far:
the references i used (notice the three different grips):
the internals (i want to be able to shot my friends with this thing!) - the yellow and the pink parts are from the Nerf gun:

to do list:
- clip release switch (functional)
- second half of the body
- connectors
- get a laserpointer and integrate it in the lower front
- find a 3D printer...
