Yeah, just cotton wads for the neck piece. I don't know if it'll give the desired effect for the rest so maybe foam would be a good idea. It'll be less easy to manipulate though. If you've got your basic shape with the material than you can just shove the wadding in and don't have to worry about shaping foam.

Oh I'm not worried about shaping the foam. I was just going to sandwhich it in between the base layer and the top vinyl layer for only a slight bit of volume. The foam I'm using is the stuff I got from the fabrics store.

Ok it might not be high density foam as everything I just googled wasn't the same stuff. The fabrics store I bought it at did call it that though.

In short yes, but I can manage.

So, I did start to sew it together last night, but I ran into problems. It'll be the till after the weekend is over till I can get back to it. So, I'll be moving on to another part of the costume while I have to wait.
