Hi,
If you are bored, or just have an itch to build something, but have no materials and lazy enough to build something big - try this. It is really easy build, and costs me only 6 bucks.
This is paper only build - no need fiberglass, bondo and other toxic stuff.
I scaled model to have largest parts fit to A4 paper, so it is largest possible cube you can build without overlapping parts.
Well, now my kid is happy again She is real Portal addict, yes.

If you go with your own cube - download that ZIP file, containing PDO and PDFs.
Since I hasn't even dense paper, I went to little company that gives printing services to public and ask to print me a PDO file I have on most dense paper they have. I ask ti print 6 first pages on pink paper, and rest - on white.
I used file, where additional flaps present and no edge ID numbers.
And then...
Base cube:
Corners on base cube:
Next level of corners
12 PITA details between corners:
Here they are all on places:
Round thingies with hearts:
Glue them together:
And finally the new Weighted Companion Cube was born...
And... after 1 minute of playing with it, my kid sent it onto her shelf - to accompany older cube, that collect the dust there for almost an year...
Good luck with your builds!
