Hello all! My name is Bowye, and I'm really new to cosplay and the community. As stated this will be my first Halo spartan suit (mostly 3d printed). But this isn't some normal ol spartan, it's going to be themed after the character Hello Kitty! It will be known as the Halo Kitty (hehe). Here is how it should look like! Since this is my first Halo Spartan suit I am listening for comments and help! Thanks guys!

I've already started to work on the helmet. I got the files from Galatic Armory.
It took about 3 days to print out in pla.

Went with Bondo Glazing and Spot putty for the whole helmet

Sand then Filler Primer, you get the drill

Fast foward to the paint, but no weathering yet.
And don't worry for the crappy bow! It's only temporary.

And for the final touches on the helmet are the visor (that I might change), some weathering, and the wiskers.

Overall it was a fun helmet to build! I might redo the weathering since I think went a little overboard.

I have the left and right shoulders, one forearm, and the groin printed out and being sanded. I am starting to attach them.

I have a question/concern, I do not like the fact that there is a big gap at my shoulder. How can I make it look better? I was thinking of a shoulder pad I could buy, but I want some advice first.

If you'd like to add the "wings" on the reach chest that should help shape it out! Most people who print their armor will make this section out of foam or fabric for flexibility and comfort. You can use the reach chest files in the armory for templates!

I am planning on making a rubber seal that will fit around the inside of the chest. I'm hoping it will come out similar to the in game model similar to the attached picture.

Absolutely loving it! As for the chest and shoulders, if you want a rubber undersuit/seal thing I believe Nerdforge includes those in the files he made, otherwise I’m sure we’ve got resources for foam ones somewhere in the community!

Agreed! looking fantastic so far! I love the kitbash! As for the "wings" or gasket, Nerdforge does indeed include files for it, but I think it's meant to be a template or mold for casting it in rubber. If you do figure out how to make it into a wearable piece however, let me know! That and the chest gasket are the last pieces I need to figure out for my build!

You can never go overboard on weathering!
Love this helmet, dont see enough of these printed!
great job on it, keep up the good work, spartan!

Hello again! I have about 90 percent of the armor built! Really REALLY sloppy tho. Im planning on going to Silicon 2022, so i really have to cut some corners. But I am very excited on how it is going! All that is left is the shoes and shins ( and maybe a gun if i have the time). What gun would go good with this suit?
