Hey guys, I'm working on a master chief helmet and it fist perfectly when its on my head but its kind of tight around my ears when I need to take it off or put it on (I need to bend the helmet to do it which I obviously can't do when its all hardened). I remember someone saying that you can cut the the sides of the helmet around the ears and make a hinge system to make the helmet easier to get on and off but I'm not quite sure how he said to do that.
I can't quite see how actual hinges would work since I can't see how you would be able to hide them. Does anyon have any ideas on how to do it?
Also, do you think I should cut the helmet before or after I harden the inside?
Anyways, let me know what you guys think
