Back a few weeks ago the story of a man who sent in his xbox for repairs appeared on the internet. He had artwork and signatures from many bungie employees on it. When he was hit by the red ring of death, he sent in the xbox for repairs, opened it up a month later and found out someone had used a alcohol pad to clean off all the art and such.
Bungie then sent him figures and a legendary helmet with their signatures to fix his troubles, now microsoft themselves are saying sorry too! They sent him this:
With that, he also got a picture of bill gates, PERSONALLY signed by him, not a fake printed signature like we usually get from famous people in magazines and and other crap you buy with signatures on them.
This lucky guy got a new xbox 360 and tons of new video games included in the box. No picture of the bill gates photo, but whatever his old xbox was worth, his new one is worth MORE.
And His response:

Btw I strike again for major halo/microsoft/random news! +10 points for frost! To those who have worked to put this package together for me, you have my gratitude. Thank you all for putting forth the time and effort to do this for me; this is indeed far “more awesome” than what I had before.
This story has shown itself to be a great lesson in the power of the Internet. It is with this observation that I must say to the gaming community at large, those who’ve shown their support and saved me much of the effort of spreading my story myself, you also have my gratitude. Without the actions of a great number of individuals who will forever remain unknown to me, my “cautionary tale” would not have reached nearly as many people. Thank you.
