MK VI Armor and Halo4 Recon Helmet (first time) WIP pic. heavy

Well, before I started my gun, I was working on making a suit of armor to be used at a Halloween/zombie airsoft game in October. So, since it'll be a couple more days before I can work on my gun again, I can at least post my progress on my armor. I actually started to get into pep. because I had the idea to create a combat systems helmet for US Soldiers in a class at my college. It would be kevlar based with a bunch of goodies, and I saw the Recon helmet as having some easy traits to model after. Without further ado...


The helmet: Halo 4 Recon
Also the first thing I've ever peped, so a couple of rough patches, but turned out really nice. Some of the detail was lost when I was hardening it as it was also the first time I've experimented with fiberglass and rondo in this sort of situation. I wasn't really aiming for accuracy anyways, but I'm planning on going back and adding detail if I have time before the game in mid October.

Ok, so I also got my forearms done, which will be uploaded this round, along with a couple pics of the right shin piece (which has been fully peped, and is in the hardening process, but just no pictures yet). Also, I have mostly finished the right thigh and the codpiece. I have also finished peping the upper-arm pieces which are in the same stage as the shin. Again, I don't have pics yet for those. Over the past week, I have started on the chest armor at school, so that will also be posted on this comment. Here they are...
