I havent been on for the last several months, just getting on as a guest to poke round or to retrieve needed stuff
I've been working on several things since x-mas,
I.E. a video where master chief chucks his AR at an elite and then runs
up to him and gives him a taste of what a shot gun shell tastes like...
lots of blood...but i finished it!!!

Amongst several other very big projects and finishing up
round 10 helmets for kids at the local college
this is one that I am proud of...
the details arn't perfect but its nothing that cant be fixed..

this will hopefully become the packaging, but with minor changes, for the many more helmets I
will produce in the future for folks willing to pay

I think that's a really cool idea and the box art is pretty sweet!

The one thing I can think of is a possible licensing issue with the use of the various logos and such, the only reason I bring it up is because of this thread that I read the other day, might be a non-issue but I thought I should mention it just in case.

Wooooo brandinggg (y)

It's good to know that design is still a commodity.

I like it dude nice Job! wat u gonna make it out of? probably pep right?

Why would he make it out of pep? Its just a box. You can send designs into box companies, they print it onto sheets, put clear plastic on it, and bam. Or you could just make it youreself with professional materials.

you know that selling mc helms on a larger scale is illegal. it wouldnt be bad but if microsoft sees the box they may become angry. other than that the box looks cool

Adam might have a problem with you using the 405th logo, and he's DEFINATELY gonna have a problem with you mass producing it, or selling in large numbers. Ill cya on the front page of the New York Times when bungie/microsoft files a BIG law suite on the licensing. :)

Just make it say:

"Me-yol-near Mork VI Head Protector" (in place of "Mjolnir Mk VI Helmet")
"Property of the USNC Military" (in place of "Property of the UNSC Military")
"Bunjy" (in place of "Bungie")
"Big Ass Ring" (in place of "Halo")

and you should be fine :p

saying stuff like that makes you sound like you're just in this hobby for the money, and is totally NOT the mission of this site.

Mass marketing = lawsuit, period. Thats the message I got from Frankie when he saw my helmet. A few here and there sold quietly through forums is probably alright, but this is starting to look like a for-profit business venture for you.

I'd keep it a little quieter if I were you, for the sake of our website and community.

You'd better lose those Bungie and Halo logo's immediately... and I'm pretty sure that we'd be guilty by association if you put the 405th logo on anyhting like this.

It's an interesting idea, but please try a little harder to keep us out of trouble..

Well I wouldn't put the Halo 3 insignia and the Bungie sign on it because they are property of Bungie/Microsoft.

*Nods in agreement*
