Hey, 405th-ers! I decided to scrap my old Multiplayer project for this one. This thread is going to be pic heavy, just to let you all know.
I drew up a concept (sorry about the cruddy quality, my camera isn't the greatest around)

I can't imagine that anyone wants to read about the history and attributes to this MJOLNIR variant :rolleyes if you do just PM me about it

I finished pepping the helmet and torso

Nice work!

Good idea on the helmet markings. I prefer to score, since I only have black pens haha. For some reason I never thought of doing different colors for valley and mountain folds.

Your work so far looks great! Could we get some more pictures of the helmet?

This may be one of my new favorite threads because I'm working on an ODST-variant Mark VI Spartan suit as well. I'm beginning to fiberglass my HD torso today, while my helmet is about 98% complete (waiting for gold visor installation and some resistors for the lighting circuit).

Anyway it's sweet to see another ODST Spartan suiting up. Hopefully we can share ideas to make the suits the best they can be.

Nice now you have all day to work on it since schools out!
Summer! Yay!

This looks really, REALLY cool. Another idea is maybe get some Reach style armour pieces like the shoulders or knee pads.

And another colour combination you could do is a really dark urban style camo (the real urban camo), where you'll use black, dark grey, and then light grey.
Or, you could do red camo! There's nothing that catches your eye better.

Here's some more pictures: (and lucky for you, it's the same armour!)

that is pretty nice, it turned out pretty good BTW it is way better than my ODST helmet, mine turned out crappy :p

haha! nothing catches your eye better than the russian urban camo, that's great, instead of CAMOFLAUGING you, you stick out like a sore thumb.
I think i know that urban you're talking about, was it the 'lowlight urban' camoflauge used in MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries/Vengeance?

Not sure what the camo looks like in that game, but something like this (but darker, and not digital - although digital is pretty cool as well!) http://fullmetaljacket.com/catalog/images/F5470_dsubd.jpg

Finally! Now other people are doing the 0DST Spartan as well! I was planning to do the 0DST Spartan as soon as I got it for my helmet. However, when I saw Reach had the 0DST helmet too, I decided to do my Spartan from Reach, but the problem is that I don't know if that helmet looks any different than the one in Halo 3. The visor looks a different color etc. Besides, I'm planning on doing the attachments on mine. Good luck!

i was also thinking of giving it a very, very, subtle transparent brown coating to all of that to help with camoflauging. I gave some thought to the adding Reach armor to it, i might add that square thing that Noble 6 has on the front top of his helmet
