Good day everyone,

Been away too long as life's been busy and it seems part 1 of my original thread has gone with the old forum.
Nonetheless, small progress on the thigh armors - mold is finished and a new product has been pulled. Kindly check pictures "MLC_halo3.169" and "MLC-halo3.170" in page 3 of my online photo album:

We also finished making the mock-ups of the Shin armor as well as the 3 piece boot/shoes. Hopefully, they will be molded soon.

To view progress pics from the start of my journey, my Halo3 album starts here:

Looks like Ruze has beaten me to it.

But yeah, I remember you from back then. I never got around to molding armor pieces but I learned a lot about the process by following you WIP thread.

Looking great Mardon - I'm glad to see you getting back to this!

Any chance of getting some measurements on those thighs? Ideally over-all height, diameter of opening at knee, and diameter of opening at the top?

Looking AWESOME Mardon! I like the Helm!
Can't wait to see more progress!

Cheers!

It is still around, just hidden away with the forum's default sorting method.

Here's your original thread:
http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/5054-MLC%27s-journey-to-becoming-MC!

But this thread will do just fine, it's been so long since the last one was updated.

Nice to see you back at the Halo stuff and looking great as always Mardon!

Thanks sir!
Its good to see that my first original thread is still around and my bad for not updating for years. Feel free to either join this thread to the original one or let it hold its own.
Oh yeah, now I have an Xbox360 :)

Of course :)

Placing the thigh armor on top of a table, the highest part is 14" (outside hip), while the shorter inner part is 10" (groin).
The top opening is shaped like an oblong, so longest opening is 9.5" (front to back) and the shortest opening is 8" (side to side).
The bottom opening is round shaped having 6" diameter.

Hope this helps!
