Modeling question

So here's the story, (some of you this is no news) In modular science one of our assignments is to sculpt anything out of the CNC Mill. My mind screamed: "Battle rifle you are mine!" So I Ran(slipped) up my driveway tore open the door and flew to the computer. I then logged onto the 3DS site, and saw about 7 different model building programs. The Bottom line is:


--> Bottom line: Which program can I use that's compatible with a CNC Mill?



P.S. I do have some experience with modeling, but only Solidworks

Well, Robogenisis made a MA5C pep. It was working out for me, but my parents threw it out. But I would just look through the stickies and do a little research. Good luck. :tutu:

i remember in middle school we had a small cnc and the teacher would use autocad and design something for us to program the machine to cut. just go ask your teach or check out the software the cnc uses for compatible file types.

That might work, but I asked him if I could make a rifle for the project, and he said that's fine, but I have it next trimester, and he said their getting new computers after this one is up, which has Windows Vista on it, plus new modeling programs. And from what he said, he doesn't know which program it will be, I'll ask him anyway
