I only have one mold I wish I had more. This is my Emile Mold but it's going off to Troublis1983 soon for casting.

I think it took 4 small cans of Mold Builder to do that. If you look the small details where the cheeks are on it there's some red RTV there to strengthen that area.

I have a can of it. Are you speaking of the ones that come in the plastic jars right?

Yes the company that makes it also makes a pour over mold liquid. Can't pour mold biulder over anything it would take forever to cure, plus it's a latex based material so it's supposed to shrink over time.

Hmm. I use castin craft stuff alot. Ill have to check out the pour over stuff. I use oomoo 25 silicone rubber ALOT. But this might be a good alternative.

Nice, what would you recomend for large complicated props that can easily be broken down?

Silicone black molds or 2 part silicone molds (for parts that do not have a flat bottom) . I recomend OOMOO 25 from smooth-on . It is a easy 2 part silicone rubber that has a shore A hardness . It takes 75 minutes to cure, so you can make a full mold in less than 3 hours and start casting them that day.

Hope that helped,

Jacob
