Foam Monker’s Mk 7 build

So I started doing an unfold for the Mk 7 undersuit and intended for it to be a prototype… never intended to start a new build but you guys know how that always turns out.

I am using TNT 4mm foam for these pieces.

I built this with flexibility in mind. Each panel has nylon webbing between them to allow the core to bend and give me the ability to rotate and bend.

Today I unfolded and tackled the neck seal. I havent decided on a helmet yet (Foolishly holding out hope for a Gen 3 Deadeye) so Halo 5 Chief helmet for demo purposes

Im thinking I may do the chest next.

So I started the chest piece! Heres where im at after 2 days. I need to hit the front with some high grit sandpaper, but its definitely coming along!

Did a small little bit of work today… the back is now done and so is the front!

I was a little worried it was scaled too small, but after adding the bottom section of the chest and the ring around the sides everything lined up and sits nice and right.

All thats left on this piece is the back of the underarm strap and then the thrusters.

Discord ate first as per usual but I finished the straps under the arms!

Next up will be the thrusters then the belt!
