While visiting the coolest toy shop in the world i saw a lancer there that was $400. a little bit out of my price range, so i decided to make one.
Started with a lancer blueprint that i found on the internet, and made it life size.
Then i traced it onto foam board to get the sides of the gun.
I cut out a 5.5cm peice of fam board to make the lancer the intended width, and repeated the process all around the gun.
FOAMIES!!!
for detal and rounding out the top and grip
I used casting resin from hobby lobby to harden the gun up and make it so i could paint it without melting half my gun.
AND THEN....
THE LIGHTING...
which took me a while
i was able to have blue and red lighting for the cog and the locust
All thats left is remaking the clip and fine detailing.
