Monokote?

Has anyone ever used Monokote? It is used on model airplanes and is a thin plastic sheet that you heat up and put on whatever you are using it on. I was thinking that if it would work that i would make a tutorial and my halo wars armor with it.

is this basically what shrink wrap is? do you want to put it over your pep'd pieces of armor? and how hard does it cure?

I know this stuff.. They use it in auto industries (car industries) when they have made a clay mold of a car (they always make a clay mold to see what it looks like) then they stretcht this stuff over the clay so that they can get the 'metal' surface.
