I was wondering, if i were to NOT use fiberglass, how many layers of resin would i need on the inside and outside?

Consider the following Resin is like $30 a can for like the gallon sized drum, a 9ft by 9ft sheet of fiberglass eh... around $3 give or take. You'd use three times or more resin by avoiding fiberglass and half the strength. You could do it.. but it'd be pretty pointless. As for how many coats of resin like... 50 or more and if you ever drop it.. it'll shatter into a million pieces.

Okay... I'll do the fiberglass... Thanks!

No problem: Resin the outside 1-2 times, fiberglass the inside 2-3 times, bondo the outside, sand it, paint it with primer, paint it.
