Mountain boards (also called dirt boards or all terrain boards)are basically off road skate boards with straps to hold your feet in.
I'm looking at making a mountain board. I can't buy one because I live in Manitoba (a very flat province in Canada) so there are not any stores that sell them. I have already planned out the trucks, and the board, and I am nearly ready to start building it, but I have a few important questions.
How long are mountain boards usually? From end to end. I'm 6' 2", would I need to make the board larger?
Could someone post some reference pics of the straps? I have already googled it, but I couldn't find any helpful pictures. I need to see how they are made up, and how they are attached.
How wide are the trucks? are they about 16.5" ?
How heavy is dried resin? I'm pretty sure it is pretty light. Would it be possible to drill through a solid tube of resin with out too many problems?
