i came up with this idea the other day for how to use muslin cloth in order to detail a pep helmet.
since muslin is so inexpensive, and it's also very strong, i decided to use it with my helmet, once finished with the first layer, i got the idea to layer it about two inches thicker in the areas which indenting detail is required. what i mean by "indenting detail" is is in the attachment.
in these thickened areas a dremel could be used, with the aid of scale pics of that area. tell me what you think.
