My CNC Halo Plasma Sword

Made this for my advanced CNC Machining class at college, during the spring 2012 semester. Couldn't send it to MasterCam's national competition because it was too "weapon" like. My version of the sword. At least 120 hours into design and machining. Blade is 18.5" x 47.5" x .2" acrylic cut on a waterjet at college . Aluminum handle halves machined on a Haas CNC Mill. Everything done by me. Enjoy

You did a phenomenal job on your sword. Are you planing on making any other weapon? I'm sure it would come out great.

Thanks! I no longer have free access to use the CNC equipment unfortunately. I graduated. But as soon as I finish my Pyramid Head costume I will be building a sound, light, and airsoft functional plasma rifle. And War Master helmet. And then armor. A buddy just introduced me to Pepakura... I both loathe and love him for it!
